Parent Communication: When the student finishes a book, Faith sends home all of his/her learning materials, progress report and the book. “In the parent letter that I send home at this time, I state to the parent that their child has finished their book and would like to share it with them. Included is popcorn for the family to enjoy during their reading time and then the parent/guardian signs the progress report to show that their child read to them. Sending home the popcorn is just a little special something for them to enjoy while reading.”
